The short version.

The CV Method is run by Corina Violette (“I”, “me”). Three things hold no matter which page you’re on:

  • 01

    Only what you share

I collect what you choose to send me, plus the basic logs that keep the site running and secure.

  • 02

    Never sold

I don’t sell or rent your information to anyone. It’s used to respond to you and do the work we agree on.

  • 03

    Yours to control

Ask to see, correct, or delete it at any time: hello@thecvmethod.com.

01

What I collect

Information you give me. When you book a call, use the contact form, request a free playbook, or email me, I receive your name, email address, and anything else you include.

The Discovery Journey. If you complete the questionnaire at /start, I receive your answers, your name and email, your phone number if you choose to add one, and any note you write. You see your results on screen before sharing anything; your answers and details only reach me if you choose to send them with the form. Your answers are also used to sort your enquiry into a rough priority and to create a reminder for me to reply. That sorting only decides how quickly I follow up; I read every enquiry myself, and it doesn’t limit what I’ll talk to you about.

Basic technical data. This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and secure the site. The contact form and the Discovery Journey use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused check that tells people apart from spam bots.

Analytics, only if you agree. On your first visit a banner asks whether to turn on analytics. Only if you click Accept do I load Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and measures how the site is used (for example, pages viewed and steps completed in the Discovery Journey) so I can improve it. IP addresses are anonymized and ad personalization is off. If you click Decline or ignore the banner, Google Analytics never loads and no analytics cookies are set.

Cookieless page counts. Separately, Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and page speed for every visit. It sets no cookies, doesn’t use your IP address to identify you, and doesn’t follow you across sites.

02

How I use it

To reply to you, schedule and hold our call, deliver work you engage me for, and keep the site running and secure. I use your details this way because you sent them to me and asked me to respond.

Tips and updates are separate and optional. Ticking the box asking for them isn’t enough on its own: I email you a link, and you’re only added once you click it to confirm. That way nobody can sign you up with your address. I record when you confirmed and which form it came from. You can unsubscribe at any time.

03

Who else is involved

A few trusted services help run this. Each processes data under its own privacy terms.

  • CloudflareHosting, delivery, security, bot checks, and the secure database that stores your details.
  • Cal.comScheduling your call.
  • ResendSending email.
  • Microsoft 365My business email.
  • OtterNotes from our call, only if you’re comfortable with it being recorded.
  • Google AnalyticsPrivacy-configured usage measurement. Only if you accept

I don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.

04

How long I keep it

I keep what you send only as long as needed to respond, work together, or meet legal and accounting requirements. Then I remove it.

05

Your choices

You can ask me to see, correct, or delete the information you’ve shared at any time. If you opted in to updates, you can unsubscribe from any email or reply to opt out. To change your analytics choice, clear this site’s stored data in your browser (or use its cookie controls) and the consent banner will appear again on your next visit.

06

Changes

As the site adds features, I’ll update this page and the “last updated” date at the top.

This is a plain-English summary, not legal advice.

Questions about your data?

Email me and I’ll answer personally. Or, if you came here to get started, take the 90‑second discovery.
